Passion

Chiaroscuro, (from Italian chiaro, “light,” and scuro, “dark”) is a technique employed in the visual arts to represent light and shadow. In this painting to capture the strength and power of women, I used the method of Chiaroscuro, together with the colour red. Red provokes the most potent emotions and as such represents all that she is about, confidence, dominance, and sexuality.  And she demands respect.
