About Me
I belong to two families that uphold strong family values. We take care of each other, and cherish the time we spend together as it is of great importance. Growing up, I’ve learned to appreciate and understand the challenges faced by the women in my life. Their love and resilience have deeply influenced me.
I began painting in my mature years. Every experience, whether joyful or traumatic, has shaped who I am today. And when I paint, my soul sings. It’s wonderful that my two daughters inhabit a world where creativity is encouraged and accessible to them.
My journey as a full-time artist has just begun, and I can’t wait to discover what the future holds.
I began my artistic journey with realism paintings. Here is the very first piece I created. I arrived at my first class with a very large canvas and a photograph I had taken of fishermen. The teacher explained very gently that I should take baby steps. It was only a few months later that I painted from that photo reference.
